Toccara Elaine Jones is an
American model and
television personality. Toccara is no stranger to reality television.
America's Next Top Model put Toccara Jones on the map; She was the
eighth contestant eliminated on the third season of the UPN series
America's Next Top Model.
Fans loved her because she represented the majority of America who is
overweight, and she was never shy or apologetic about being plus sized.
On America's Next Top Model, Toccara was elected cover girl of the week
four weeks in a row. Toccara has appeared on the
second season of the
VH1 series Celebrity Fit Club 2. She has guest starred on a few
different shows on UPN and has continued modeling since being
eliminated from America's Next Top Model.
Since her appearance on America's Next Top Model, Toccara has been on
the covers of Be, The Next Level Magazine (November 2005), Black Men
magazine, Black Hair magazine, Braids magazine, and King magazine.
Toccara has also modeled for Ashley Stewart, New York and Company,
Target, Essence magazine, Vibe magazine, and Smooth magazine. Her
runway shows include Hot 97's Third Annual Full Frontal Hip Hop Fashion
Show, Luxe & Romance Fall 2005, BET Presents: Rip The Runway 2, and
Ellegirl presents Dare To Be You: Wal-Mart Meets America's Next Top
Models 2005. She has co-hosted an episode of 106 and Park.
Toccara currently lives in New York City. Interestingly, her mother
named her after a perfume manufactured by Avon. She hails from the city
of Dayton, Ohio and weighs 180 lbs. Her favorite movie is "What's Love
For to do With It" and her favorite food is spaghetti! She a very
positive outlook on life and dreams of becoming the world's first
superstar plus-size model.
In a recenty move plus size ladies everywhere, including myself, are
not raving about, Toccara has also appeared on the second season of the
VH1 series Celebrity Fit Club. Here Toccara lost 32 lb (15 kg) as she
claimed wanting to weigh 180 lb (82 kg) because it was "good for her
career".
